Hermes

A private mail assistant for one person.

Hermes is a personal tool that helps its owner keep their own Gmail inbox in order. It is not a public service: it has a single user, it is not offered to anyone else, and there is nothing to sign up for.

What it does

• Sorts the owner's incoming mail into labels, using rules the owner defines.
• Sends the owner a short daily summary of mail that needs their attention.
• Flags urgent messages such as payment failures or account security alerts.
• Helps the owner unsubscribe from newsletters they no longer want.

What it does not do

• It never permanently deletes mail.
• It never sends mail to anyone on the owner's behalf other than unsubscribe requests the owner has approved.
• It does not sell, share or transfer mail data to anyone.

How mail data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

Hermes's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
